The Christian Times is a monthly newspaper. The purpose of the newspaper is to report newsworthy religious events and activities within the local Christian community, nationwide and around the world, to increase the awareness of believers regarding the issues of today, to provide thought-provoking commentary, and to provide an effective advertising vehicle for Christian ministries and organisations, events, and businesses which want to reach the Christian marketplace.

REGION

The Christian Times newspaper is published and distributed monthly from London to other parts of the United Kingdom, with the aim of producing regional and nternational editions. The monthly circulation at january 2010  is 30,000 copies with the aim of reaching the 50,000 copies mark by September 2010.

DISTRIBUTION

The Christian Times is delivered in bulk amounts to hundreds of locations. Our primary locations are churches and Christian bookstores. Other locations include Christian businesses, delis, donut shops, coffee shops, doctors’ offices, libraries and local stores etc.

DEADLINE

Display ads should be received by the 18th of the prior month to assure publication in the next month’s issue. This deadline may possibly be extended in certain months with advance approval. Non-camera-ready ads should be submitted as soon as possible to allow for production time. A proof will be provided prior to press time for the purpose of checking accuracy of information, not design changes.

AGENCY DISCOUNTS

Advertising agencies may be eligible for a 10% agency discount off the open rate. Agency discounts may not be combined with frequency discounts.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation of a 3-, 6-, or 12-times ad campaign, receiving a frequency discount, prior to completion of the campaign, will result in the advertiser being re-billed at the open rate or at the discounted rate based upon the number of months the ad actually ran.

Insertion orders canceled less than seven (7) days prior to publication will incur a 50% charge for the reserved space.

PAYMENT

Payment must accompany ad material for any new client. Clients in a multiple month campaign may request credit terms for subsequent months.

POLICIES

The publishers reserve the right to reject or cancel any advertising. Liability for errors shall not exceed the cost of that portion of the space occupied by such error. All claims must be made within 10 days of publication. The publisher shall not be liable for any indirect or subsequent damage due to loss of business or profits.
